I just wanted to take a few minutes to reflect back on my experience with FMS Bonds, Inc, and perhaps more specifically, with you, Kara. We have never seen each other face to face and that is not unusual in your type of business, and in this time of instant communication using various methods..
Just a word or two about my background. To my knowledge, we have never discussed my 35 yrs + in the banking business and the fact that I retired 24 yrs ago to devote my time and attention to what I love to do. I am Founder and Director of one of the largest and most successful internet Bible studies and I have lead/ lead a team of ten people. I have interjected this for two reasons: (A) I want you to know what I do and (B) this job is demanding of my time, consequently I have depended on you for the last 5 years to direct a sizable percentage of my investments in the most "professional" manner. Needless to say, I am sure early on, you found me to be "rather demanding," but perhaps better described by some of my former associates, as being " firm but fair."
Kara, I have appreciated "so very much" the fact that you early on took the time to study my character and to "size me up as an investor". Thus I do not recall you ever bugging me and wasting, my and your time attempting to sell me tax exempt securities that did not meet my requirements.
Although it is about 1,200 miles from Boca Roton, Fla to Sugar Land, Texas, I feel that we have had, and hopefully will always maintain, a close working relationship. I do not ever recall ever doing any business with anyone but you at FMS, I do business with a number of Investment firms in various parts of the country, but you and FMS Bonds, Inc rank very near the top of my list.
